Every human being has a potential to make a powerful contribution in this world. We often realize our potential through the work we dedicate our lives to when we are “on purpose.” Unfortunately, many people have not discovered a way to release their power to be and do what they want. Self-leadership is the key to unlocking potential and manifesting personal power. Leadership is one of the top five skills requested by employers of new hires (Michigan State University research study) and one of the essential skills lacking among entry level employees.
I was so inspired by the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. The energy was incredible! I decided to take on this new spirit of service and run with it. This weblog is part of the new service. It is a place for all people who want to share constructive energy and learn about self-leadership, self-responsibility, and self-direction to improve their lives and those they hold near and dear.As a result of the inauguration experience, I contacted all of the high schools in my community and offered a youth leadership program to transform C students into honor roll students. It is a labor of love. At this stage in life, it's all about what can one invest in the next generation. I AM committed to serve.
